Redesmere and beyond - Part II

Return to Part I

...

Pretty thatched cottages along the Fanshaw Lane.

But along past the quieter and more secluded end of the lake ...

... over the main road and across the field, there is another stretch of water over which we can see a rather more substantial dwelling - Capesthorne Hall

... with landscaped setting for outdoor events.

Approaching Siddington over the fields, these ladies quietly taking their ease before milking time ...

... while these had a lot more to say for themselves. I don't think it was 'The sky is falling' this time, however.

The shady drive of the Old School House at Siddington fronting what is now the Village Hall

... and the massed ranks of Narcissi at the crossroads on the A34 just beyond the turning for Redesmere.

A fitting end to the day. A Siddington sunset.

But you can now look up Redesmere revisited - December 2003
