Rainow, on the B5470 to
Whalley Bridge, sits beside the River Dean above Bollington.
The hamlet of Ginclough
half a mile beyond Rainow.

of the sculptured bulk and height is impressive. To remind yourself
of scale look at the fenceposts in the far left alcove!

Dam. The wall corner peeping out above the near forest and a backdrop
of Andrew's Edge with its own plantation.
