Dear
Visitors and Friends
I
have to tell you that for the foreseeable future I cannot envisage
being able to update the site as I would wish.
Those
of you who have been or are involved in creating and running a
site will know how much time and effort can be required.
In
the aftermath of my wife Rosie's illness and death starting the
site was a release and support in those first difficult months
and linked me to the wider world when I might have turned in on
myself.
Time
has passed and the rebuilding of my life has reached a new phase.
I now feel able to return to my Open University studies and complete
the degree course I started when I retired from employment.
I
have enjoyed very much the whole process of creation from the
expeditionary visits and the photography through the manipulation
of images, constructing the pages and site publication. And the
many messages of support and appreciation have been and are a
welcome bonus.
In
thanking you all for your interest and past support this message
sounds like an obituary but I do hope to keep the site open and
maybe I will occasionally find time for the odd snippet.
With
all best wishes
Peter
