Chatsworth
Country Fair - Part II
Return
to Part I
....
Nobody is lunching but there's
a lot of snacking going on and a lot of canine pressure for a
share. Is he going to succumb to that restrained and disciplined
begging pose?
Isn't it good to have your
Daddy to jump up and down on when you've had your energy levels
restored?
Of course when you're older
you can let off a volley or two ...
... or even allow the real
military in the form of the local regiment to provide some safe
exhilaration. The length of the queue for the abseiling was the
measure of its attractiveness.
In the ring the Knights
of Arkley are nearly at the stage of entering into the lists for
individual jousts.
....
Others, meanwhile, are just
standing around waiting.
But there's serious shopping
to be done as well, in the huge Handicrafts tents and along the
rows of individual stands.
But when you and the dogs
really need a rest it's best to find a quiet shady spot and perch
for a while ...
... before trying to find
the car!
Heading home from a good
day out: Axe Edge Moor with the Cat and Fiddle on the horizon.
